Dental researchers test a new tool for a better bite fit

NCT ID NCT07366385

Summary

This study tested if using a custom-made stabilizing tray makes a dental device called OccluSense more accurate at measuring how teeth contact when biting. Eleven healthy dental students had their bite measured twice: once with the device alone and once with the device supported by the new tray. The goal was to see if the tray helps get more reliable measurements for planning dental work like crowns or bridges.
