First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated Apr 20, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding a custom-made stabilizing tray improves the accuracy of a device that scans how teeth fit together when biting. Researchers compared scans taken with and without the tray in 11 healthy young adults with all their natural teeth. The goal was to see if the tray helps the scanning sensor work better inside the mouth.
