Study questions need for immediate chemo after treating lung spots in colon cancer

NCT ID NCT06778382

Summary

This study is for people with colorectal cancer who had no signs of disease but then developed a few small spots (metastases) in their lungs. It tests whether patients can safely delay starting a new round of chemotherapy after these lung spots are treated with local methods like surgery, radiation, or ablation. The goal is to see if carefully monitoring patients can allow them to avoid or postpone the side effects of chemotherapy without harming their long-term health.
