NCT ID NCT07520695
First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at whether waiting two minutes before lying flat after a spinal injection can prevent low blood pressure in older adults (65+) having hip fracture repair. 90 patients were split into two groups: one waited two minutes, the other lay down right away. The goal was to see if the short delay made blood pressure more stable during surgery.
