Dissolving shoulder implant tested to ease pain from severe tears

Summary
This is the first study in people to test a new, dissolving shoulder spacer. It aims to see if the spacer is safe and can help relieve pain and improve movement in patients over 50 with severe, painful rotator cuff tears. The study will track 20 patients to monitor for any serious problems related to the device and check how well it works.
