Can a simple posture change ease the strain of bowel movements?
NCT ID NCT06252714
Summary
This study tested whether using a device to change a person's sitting position on the toilet could make bowel movements easier and less straining for people with a rectocele, a type of pelvic organ prolapse. It involved 60 participants who had this condition and reported bowel problems. The main goal was to see if the posture device reduced the effort needed during a bowel movement.
