NCT ID NCT07136623

First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a device that records heart sounds and a simple 3-lead ECG can help screen for pulmonary hypertension (PH), a serious condition where blood pressure in the lungs is too high. About 1,500 adults who are already scheduled for heart tests will have a short recording session. The goal is to train a computer algorithm to detect PH from these noninvasive signals, potentially making screening easier and faster in the future.
