First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a diode laser before placing a special filling (Biodentine) helps preserve more healthy tooth and reduces staining compared to using the filling alone. 48 adults with deep cavities in permanent back teeth will be treated and followed. The goal is to see if the laser step improves outcomes for managing deep tooth decay.
