Summary

This study looks at two simple breathing exercises—deep breathing and using a spirometer—to see which one helps people with broken ribs get more oxygen. About 104 adults with rib fractures from chest injuries will take part. The goal is to find the best way to prevent lung problems like collapsed lungs.
