First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at how slow, deep breathing affects the vagus nerve, which helps control heart rate and stress. Sixty healthy adults will be split into three groups: two will practice different slow-breathing techniques, and one will get standard breathing education. Researchers will measure heart rate, blood pressure, and other body signals to see which breathing method works best.
