Experimental drug combo aims to boost standard cancer treatment

Summary

This early-stage trial tests the safety and best dose of the drug decitabine when given alongside standard treatments (surgery, radiation, and/or chemotherapy) for people with a type of head and neck cancer that is not caused by HPV and can be surgically removed. The goal is to see if adding decitabine can make the standard treatments work better. About 24 adults will take part.
