Study aims to give Spanish-Speaking patients a stronger voice in their medical care

NCT ID NCT05871268

Summary

This study aimed to understand how Spanish-speaking patients with pelvic floor disorders, like incontinence or prolapse, prefer to be involved in making decisions about their treatment. Researchers worked with 106 new patients at a single clinic to learn if their preferred role in decision-making matched their actual experience. The goal was to gather information to help doctors better meet patient expectations and improve satisfaction with the care process.
