New website aims to cut confusion for thyroid cancer patients

NCT ID NCT06980103

Summary

This study is testing whether a special website helps people recently diagnosed with a moderate-risk thyroid cancer make a more informed decision about radioactive iodine treatment. About 408 participants will be randomly assigned to either use this interactive decision aid website or receive standard information from the American Cancer Society. Researchers will then compare how well-informed and confident each group feels about their final treatment choice over six months.
