Study aims to help women with early breast cancer avoid surgery

Summary
This study is testing if active monitoring and hormone therapy can be a safe and effective way to manage a very early form of breast cancer called DCIS, potentially avoiding surgery. It will enroll 400 women who will receive either standard or newer hormone therapies and be closely monitored with MRI scans. The main goal is to see if this approach can successfully control the condition for the long term.
