New study aims to find best artery treatment for young heart patients

Summary

This study looks at two ways to treat blocked heart arteries in people aged 18 to 68. One method uses a drug-coated balloon with a temporary scaffold, while the other uses only a temporary scaffold. The goal is to see which approach works better over 5 years. About 2,256 participants will be followed for up to 5 years.
