Summary
This study tested a 5-month program called Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for adults with autism who have trouble managing emotions and may harm themselves. 92 adults without intellectual disability took part. The goal was to see if DBT could reduce emotional distress and self-harm behaviors. The study is complete and results will show if this therapy helps.
