Chew, swish, or skip? study tests everyday products for a cleaner mouth
NCT ID NCT07382310
Summary
This study tested whether using common products like mouthwash, dissolving tabs, or chewing gum during the day helps reduce plaque buildup and improve breath freshness. Twenty healthy adults tried different products between their morning and evening teeth brushing, comparing them to days when they used nothing. Researchers measured plaque levels and asked participants about their sense of mouth freshness.
