First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether transferring embryos after 3 days or 5 days of growth leads to more live births in IVF patients who have only a few embryos. About 1,126 women with 5 or fewer embryos will be randomly assigned to one of the two transfer times. The goal is to help doctors and patients make better, evidence-based decisions and reduce anxiety about cycle cancellation.
