Free grocery delivery tested as blood pressure solution in food deserts
NCT ID NCT05393232
Summary
This study is testing whether delivering healthy groceries directly to homes can help Black adults better control their high blood pressure. Researchers are comparing 150 participants who receive 12 weeks of free DASH diet groceries with those who get a shopping stipend instead. The goal is to see if removing barriers to healthy food access leads to better blood pressure control in communities with limited grocery options.
