NCT ID NCT07480811

Summary

This study will test if following the DASH diet—a balanced eating plan rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains—can help children with fatty liver disease (MASLD). Researchers will compare 88 children on the DASH diet to a control group to see if it reduces liver fat, improves insulin resistance, and lowers inflammation over 12 weeks. The goal is to find a safe, food-based approach to manage this growing childhood condition linked to obesity.
