Summary
This early-stage study tested a gel containing diclofenac (a pain reliever) applied vaginally for period pain. 42 women with painful periods received either a low-dose, high-dose, or placebo gel. The main goals were to check safety and how much drug enters the blood and vaginal fluids. This is not a cure but aims to ease symptoms.
