NCT ID NCT07511257

First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at 326 adults with acute coronary syndrome (heart attack or unstable angina) who also have coronary artery ectasia (enlarged heart arteries). It compares the standard treatment of two antiplatelet drugs (aspirin and clopidogrel) against one antiplatelet drug plus a blood thinner (rivaroxaban). The goal is to see which approach better prevents major heart problems like death, another heart attack, or the need for repeat artery-opening procedures, while also checking for bleeding risks.
