Summary

This study compares two medications, dapagliflozin and metformin, to see which better controls weight gain caused by antipsychotic drugs. About 110 people aged 16 and older with conditions like schizophrenia will receive one of the drugs plus lifestyle advice. The goal is to find a safe, effective way to manage weight and improve overall health without stopping needed psychiatric treatment.
