Dance your way to better cholesterol? study tests waltz and bands for Women's heart health
NCT ID NCT06985550
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week exercise program combining waltz dancing, resistance band training, and balance exercises could improve cholesterol levels and overall health in women aged 45-65 with high cholesterol. Researchers compared 60 women who did the supervised classes three times a week to a group that did not exercise. The goal was to see if this fun, multi-part workout could lower 'bad' cholesterol, improve body composition, and boost heart health, balance, and mood.
