Cheese byproduct cream tested to soothe Kids' itchy skin

NCT ID NCT07259343

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether a cream containing glycomacropeptide, a compound derived from milk, can help reduce the symptoms of eczema in children. Researchers will compare the special cream to a regular moisturizer in 20 children aged 2 to 12 with mild eczema. The main goals are to see if the cream lessens skin irritation and itching, and if it changes the types of bacteria living on the skin.
