Summary

This study tests a treatment called D-Fi, made from a patient's own skin cells that are genetically modified to produce a missing protein. It aims to improve wound healing in children and adults with dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa, a condition that causes fragile, blistering skin. The trial compares D-Fi plus standard care to standard care alone in 32 participants aged 2 and older.
