NCT ID NCT05150210

First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study is testing a new robotic surgical system (da Vinci SP) for removing part or all of a lung (lobectomy) or the thymus gland (thymectomy) in people with lung cancer, benign lung disease, thymoma, or myasthenia gravis. The goal is to see if the system is safe and works well, by tracking how often surgeons need to switch to another method and how many serious side effects occur within 30 days. About 32 adults will take part, and they will be followed for up to 5 years after surgery.
