First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether the drug DA-1229 (Evogliptin) can slow the buildup of calcium in the aortic valve, a condition called calcific aortic valve disease. About 580 adults with mild to moderate aortic stenosis will take either the drug or a placebo daily for 2 years. The goal is to see if the drug reduces valve calcification and delays the need for valve surgery.
