First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests special glasses called D.D.C lenses that may slow down worsening nearsightedness (myopia) in children aged 6 to 14. The lenses use a unique design to reduce eye strain and delay the need for stronger prescriptions. Over 24 months, 316 kids will wear these lenses or regular glasses to see if the new design works better and is safe.
