First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at two different ways of giving a combination of two antibiotics (ceftazidime-avibactam and aztreonam) to treat serious infections caused by superbugs that resist many drugs. About 144 adults with infections like pneumonia or bloodstream infections will take part. The goal is to see if giving the drugs one after the other works as well as giving them together, without raising side effects.
