First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at 58 children needing a pulpotomy (removing infected nerve tissue) in a baby molar. Researchers will measure inflammation markers (cytokines) in the tooth to see if the location of the cavity (top vs. side) affects treatment success. The goal is to find a better way to predict which teeth will heal well.
