Tooth inflammation markers may predict treatment success
NCT ID NCT07261761
First seen Dec 29, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at 40 people with tooth inflammation (reversible or irreversible pulpitis) to see if certain immune markers (IL-8 and IL-10) in the blood can predict how well a tooth-saving treatment works. Participants received vital pulp therapy, and researchers measured pain and X-ray results to check success. The goal was to understand if these markers could help dentists choose the best treatment.
