New device tested to help cystic fibrosis patients breathe easier

NCT ID NCT04010253

Summary

This study tested whether a medical device called Simeox® helps clear mucus from the lungs of adults with cystic fibrosis better than a standard manual breathing technique. Researchers compared how well the two methods improved breathing function and reduced symptoms like shortness of breath and congestion. The goal was to see if the device offered a more effective way to manage daily respiratory symptoms.
