Oxygen therapy shows promise for chronic leg wounds

Summary
This study tests a device that delivers bursts of oxygen to chronic leg ulcers caused by vein problems. About 212 adults will receive either the active oxygen therapy or a sham device, plus standard compression bandages, for up to 16 weeks. The main goal is to see if the oxygen therapy helps more wounds close completely.
