Summary
This study tests whether applying a special skin glue (cyanoacrylate) around the IV site can keep the catheter in place better than the usual clear bandage alone. About 300 children visiting the emergency room who need an IV for at least 24 hours will be randomly assigned to get either the glue plus bandage or just the bandage. The main goal is to see if the glue reduces accidental IV dislodgement and related complications.
