Summary

This study tests a new medication, CX11, in 240 adults with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar is not well-controlled despite taking metformin. Participants are randomly assigned to receive different doses of CX11 or a placebo pill for 24 weeks. The main goal is to see if CX11 safely lowers blood sugar levels better than a placebo.
