First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study will test a new screening method to find vision problems in infants and young children who have brain injuries or conditions that put them at risk for cerebral visual impairment (CVI). Researchers will also group children into subtypes based on their vision, movement, language, and thinking skills. The goal is to catch CVI early and better understand how it affects a child's development, which could lead to better treatments in the future. About 600 children will take part in this observational study.
