NCT ID NCT07526805
First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether custom-made orthodontic molar bands (created with digital technology) are better for gum health than standard stainless-steel bands in teenagers. 180 teens getting braces were split into two groups and followed for 6 months. Researchers measured plaque buildup, gum bleeding, and pocket depth to see if custom bands reduce gum problems during orthodontic treatment.
