Custom skull implants put to the test in Long-Term safety study

NCT ID NCT05362370

Summary

This study is checking the long-term safety and performance of custom-made plastic implants used to rebuild or reshape parts of the skull and face. It will follow about 110 patients for two years after their surgery to see how well the implants work and to track any problems, especially infections. The goal is to confirm these personalized implants are a safe and effective option for people needing reconstruction due to injury, birth differences, or other conditions.
