This study tested whether a personalized probiotic could help improve both autism-related behaviors and stomach issues in people with autism. Researchers enrolled 296 children and adults aged 2.5 to 75 years. Participants received a probiotic customized to their own gut bacteria, and parents reported changes in symptoms over time.
