New 'Custom Fit' eye lens aims to sharpen blurry vision where standard lenses fail
NCT ID NCT07294716
Summary
This study is testing a new, custom-designed lens for cataract surgery in people whose corneas are irregularly shaped, which causes blurry vision that standard lenses can't fully fix. The goal is to see if this special lens can reduce the blurriness and improve vision more effectively. It's a small, early-stage study enrolling 15 people who are scheduled for cataract surgery and have significant irregular astigmatism.
