Custom 3D jaw plates put to the test
NCT ID NCT07390734
Summary
This study is testing whether a custom-made, 3D-printed titanium plate works better than the standard two small plates for fixing a broken jaw angle. It involves 18 patients who will be randomly assigned to receive either the new custom plate or the standard plates. Doctors will check how well the bone heals and measure patients' pain after surgery to see which method is more effective.
