Brain fog lingers after rare hormone disease is cured
NCT ID NCT02603653
Summary
This study aimed to understand the lasting memory and thinking problems that can remain even after Cushing's disease is cured. Researchers compared 30 cured patients to healthy volunteers, using a new 3D computer game to test memory alongside standard questionnaires. The goal was to see if the new test could better detect subtle brain changes linked to the past hormone overload.
