Spice in your smile: can turmeric speed up healing after a tooth pull?
NCT ID NCT05816707
Summary
This small study tested whether placing curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, into a fresh tooth socket could help the gum and bone heal better and faster. Thirty adults who needed two matching back teeth removed had one socket treated with curcumin and the other left to heal normally. Researchers then compared pain, gum healing, and new bone growth over several months.
