Summary

This study tests whether a therapy called Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) can be adapted to work better in low- and middle-income countries. Researchers will compare the culturally adapted therapy to standard care for 220 adults with borderline personality disorder. The goal is to see if the adapted therapy improves emotional control, reduces self-harm, and helps people function better in their daily lives.
