Can a short course make future nurses less biased?
NCT ID NCT07427147
Summary
This study tested whether a special training program could improve nursing students' cultural sensitivity and reduce bias. Researchers split 67 final-year nursing students into two groups. One group received a 4-week interactive course on cultural awareness, while the other continued their normal studies. The goal was to see if the training made students better prepared to care for patients from diverse backgrounds.
