Wrist-Watch device could revolutionize how doctors treat high blood pressure
NCT ID NCT07454148
Summary
This study is testing whether a wearable, cuffless blood pressure monitor helps doctors manage high blood pressure better than usual care. It involves 288 Korean adults whose blood pressure is still high despite medication. Doctors will use the device's 24-hour readings to guide medication adjustments for one group, while the other group receives standard care, to see which approach works better over 24 weeks.
