First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at 104 adults having surgery under general anesthesia. It compares using a special pressure gauge (manometer) versus the traditional finger-pinch method to check the breathing tube's cuff pressure. The goal is to see if the gauge reduces sore throat, hoarseness, or other airway problems after surgery.
