One-Shot eye injection aims to halt blinding disease

NCT ID NCT07392255

Summary

This study is testing a new, one-time injection called CTx001 for people with geographic atrophy, a severe form of age-related macular degeneration that causes permanent vision loss. The main goals are to see if the injection is safe and if it can slow down the damage to the retina. Researchers will follow 75 participants for up to 5 years to measure changes in their vision and eye structure.
