New drug aims to tame dangerous side effects of powerful cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT05905328

Summary

This study is testing a new drug called CTO1681 to see if it can prevent or reduce severe side effects, specifically cytokine release syndrome (CRS), in adults with a type of lymphoma called DLBCL. Participants are people scheduled to receive a powerful cancer treatment called CAR-T cell therapy. They will take the study drug three times a day for 15 days, starting just before their CAR-T infusion, to see if it makes the treatment safer.
